> I have a primary DNS server and four secondaries hosted with ISP's, I
> want to move the current primary DNS from one machine to another without
> interrupting business how best can I approach this
> I am running BIND 9.2.1
Upgrade. BIND 9.2.1 is seriously past its "use by" date.
Make the current master a slave of the new master.
Inform the ISPs.
Decommission the old master once the ISP's are transfering
from the new master.
