Local.lan

I tried using nslookup with d2 and I see the same information as I get
in a LAN trace. In the sendrequest section the QUESTIONS show
www.whatever.com.local.lan

I assume that as you say this is beeing added by the windows client (I
am using XP) but it seems an ineffient maner of resolving names (I did
say XP :-)

If I use www.whatever.com.  not the dot on the end, then it doesn add
the suffix local.lan
