Virtual Hosts don't work with "www"

Yes, I've checked:

ServerName www.host1.domain.edu
ServerAlias host1.domain.edu

And

ServerName www.host2.domain.edu
ServerAlias host2.domain.edu

dig can resolve names host1.domain.edu and host2.domain.edu to IP, but can't
resolve names www.host1.domain.edu, www.host2.domain.edu?

I'm not sure where is problem (apache, bind)?
