Hi All
All my machines that participate in the AD have to be moved into a DNS
zone of their own, usually under the main DNS zone for the organization
which is in linux bind 9.2.x. Now, my organization might make a DNS
zone called "ad.company.com" under their main "company.com" DNS zone.
The Active Directory is then "rooted" at "ad.company.com".
In such case, how my named.conf and the respective zone file be
configured to resolve the systems in Active Directory. Zone file
configuration specifically for "SOA" and "NS" record fields. Also, how
nslookup will help to check whether things are resolving properly or
not? ....
Note : Our windows admin has provided the zone files which needs to be
integrated with bind.
Thanks
Nehal
