Convert MSDNS to bind

Regarding the zone files:

Is your current MSDNS Active Directory Integrated?

If not, then zone files should already exist that would be parse-able by
any RFC-compliant name server, including BIND. Check
%systemroot%\System32\Dns for <zone-name>.dns files.

If so, that means your resource records are objects in the Active
Directory. Look at the DNS Manager program on the Domain Controller
where DNS is installed. There is a way to uncheck "Active Directory
Integrated Zones" which will then write your zone files out to
%systemroot%\System32\Dns as <zone-name>.dns files. Look in your system
documentation for how to uncheck Active Directory Integration for zones,
or start here:

4-a3c0-7e3514cef6581033.mspx?mfr=true

Regarding named.conf:

I'm not sure how to generate a config file off of MSDNS. The
documentation says MSDNS will boot off of a BIND 4 style named.boot
file, but not BIND 8.

Thanks,
 Mark

Does anyone know of a script to convert all the data from MSDNS to Bind
on
Windows?

Cheers
