named hangs

Issue # 2) named hang sometimes and it doesn't respond to anything at
all? The named daemon will still be running in the back ground but
it's just not responding to anything. "rndc status" hangs. We have to
kill it and restart it. this is a serious issue so we'll appreciate
any help on this.

We collected a tusc output and created core dump using gdb so and we
need help analyzing them.
