Notify's only hitting one view

I have a split view setup with one external and one internal view. In
trying to use notify's, I see that when the secondary comes back and
asks for the SOA, it always will get the internal SOA regardless of
whether it was the external or internal zone changed.

So, internal notify's work great. External, I have to wait until the
normal zone transfer takes place.

I have match-destinations working for me on the master, which is
working for zone transfers, but I'm wondering what I can do about
notify's?
