DIG NS output order

Sorry for the dumb question but when u do a dig @ any ww.abc.com and
it comes back with 3 name servers can you assume the first NS record
is where the answer came from.  This is assuming it wasn't cached
before and went to an authoritative name server to get the answer.
If not, is there a option in DIG when do a query to list what server
it queried to get the authoritative answer?
