Problem on installing/config bind

Hi folks,


I'm following;
BIND
http://www.postfixvirtual.net/dnsbind.html#


to install and configure bind without success.  The DNS server seems
not starting.

# /usr/local/bind/sbin/named -u named -t /usr/local/bind -c
/etc/named.conf
No printout

# ps aux | grep -v grep | grep named
No printout

# host www.linux.org 127.0.0.1
Nameserver localhost.localdomain not running
www.linux.org A record not found at localhost.localdomain, try again


# /usr/local/bind/sbin/named -u named -t /usr/local/bind -c
/usr/local/bind/etc/named.conf
named: config filename (-c /usr/local/bind/etc/named.conf) contains
chroot path (-t /usr/local/bind)


# ps aux | grep -v grep | grep named
No printout


# host www.linux.org 127.0.0.1
Nameserver localhost.localdomain not running
www.linux.org A record not found at localhost.localdomain, try again
