Configure 2 another IPs on bigserver1.mysite.com and add them to the DNS.
Or, use HTTP load balancer that supports weighing.

Or, get a DNS balancer that will send balance the IP addresses sorted in
random, but weighed order. Note that there are many technical and logical
problems with DNS balancers.

no, we will not. What you want required change of DNS system, not server.
Implementing SRV lookups instead of A lookups is possible but I doubt this
will be done. It's just too much overhead for those few cases.
