and I would suggest dropping rfc-ignorant.org<http://rfc-ignorant.org> entirely from your anti-spam flow, unless you are keen on the very high false positive rate.

Their "rules" don't make sense anymore in 2012, for example: they have blacklisted all .be, .eu, .dk, (and many more) addresses because the direct whois doesn't reveal the email data of the registrant.
In their eyes they are "sites who think that the rules of the internet don't apply to them", which is complete nonsense (PS, RFC 3912 for whois is not even "official", it has never left the draft status, and many workgroups over the past years have and are looking for replacements).

Do note that registrant contact data is available via webwhois for all those tld's (and you are also referred to the webwhois in the returned message). Not showing it in the direct whois is just to prevent walking/anti-spam measures/privacy protection.

Very childish from their side, many many mails have been sent on this subject without any movement on their side. Derek J. Balling seems to be a special individual ...

Thomas

Hi, Matus--

Your anti-spam measures block direct delivery. <abuse at codefab.com<mailto:abuse at codefab.com>> works fine
(it goes to me, as does postmaster@); I don't know why you would try to do an
RFC-ignorant lookup on the hostname in the PTR record....
