current BIND release installer packages for Solaris 10 (Sparc and i86pc)
can be found at http://support.menandmice.com/download/bind/solaris/

I'm also willing to build current BIND 9 packages for Solaris 8 or 9, but only if
a good case can be made. 

Being lazy to update is not a good case.
