Yes, so I gather. Unfortunately because I deal with the Linux side of
things, I don't carry much weight here at all when trying to point out
that we can integrate the MS stuff with the Linux servers.

That is my understanding, and I have been saying it for a very long time
now. It may well be that our current problem, despite the fact it took
someone external to point it out!, is enough to get our DNS correctly
sorted out (with respect to visible/accessible name servers).

Okay, thanks. The guy who knows the most about our AD/Exchange setup is
on hols for the week, but I'll let him know when he returns.
