New development versions of BIND are available. Release notes can be
found at:
BIND 9.9.8b1:
ftp://ftp.isc.org/isc/bind9/9.9.8b1/RELEASE-NOTES.bind-9.9.8b1.html
BIND 9.10.3b1:
ftp://ftp.isc.org/isc/bind9/9.10.3b1/RELEASE-NOTES.bind-9.10.3b1.html
Along with minor features such as new options for dig, both versions
contain a set of new features, previously offered only in the BIND 9
Subscription Version and the BIND 9 Experimental Branch, intended to
help operators reduce resource consumption and server load by adding
new quotas to limit the queries that are sent by recursive resolvers
to authoritative servers which are experiencing denial-of-service
attacks.
These anti-DDoS features are available through an optional compilation
flag; see the release notes for further details.
