The status is essentially unchanged, except that 9.11 has slipped into the
first quarter of 2016. (However, you can build a pre-release version of it
from the git repository at source.isc.org.)

Authoritative support for ECS is already in place.  Some design work has
been done toward recursive support, but it's not likely to be implemented
until someone funds the development.
