Oh sweet (2) that works!   

They just need all 5 nameservers in mine before they will allow the zone creation.
I only had one in there for testing.  

Good chance this will work.

Read the post from Mark Andrews again.

To check whether or not the “local” zone has the delegation loading correctly, recursion MUST be turned off when submitting the query. In the dig command add the switch +norecurse (or just +norec). That will get rid of the SERVFAIL response.

Start there.
