Do you mean "is it OK" as in "does it work" or as in "is it a good idea?" Whether or not it works depends on whether or not your registrar checks for that particular error. It's as good an idea as having just one nameserver. You're supposed to have two, though having just one will typically function. There are plenty of free secondarying services, if you don't want to run your own secondary. Please oh please, just do the job correctly.
