Your answer seems to indicate thate there is no way to only redirect <A href="http://www.abcd.com">www.abcd.com</A> to IP 1.2.3.4<BR>
toto.www.abcd.com will either be redirected to the same IP (zone file with * A 1.2.3.4) or answered with NX record (zonz file with <A href="http://www.abcd.com">www.abcd.com</A> A 1.2.3.4)<BR>
