No, this isn't the issue.<br>

I see the FORMERR errors in syslog and the timeouts resolving host
names even when I start named with -4.<br>
<br>
Named is querying for AAAA records even when it is started with -4,
and it is the querying, not the connectivity, that is the issue.<br>
