Hello,

Im looking for information about Bind support for edns-client-subnet. This is the extension that include end user ip in DNS lookup. This extension is proposed by google in this draft http://tools.ietf.org/html/draft-vandergaast-edns-client-subnet-00

I dont found any information about Bind support or path from commuti, I just found this guy http://wilmer.gaa.st/edns-client-subnet/ that implement a patch for dig only. I looking for sothing that implement this feature and permit Bind IP based views consider the edns-client-subnet in the process.

What do you guys think about this?
How hard is to implement support for this in Bind? This is a simple patch or will need a hardcore source change to support that?

More information about edns-client-subnet:
