I don't see any integrations with Gitea on their website, but Gitea also has an API that could have a control agent talking to both. I think that might be a more elegant alternative to just manually triggering a check / cleanup for account activation status. It is also elegant in that it's just one button press in sessions where I am logged in, but still not ideal... So I think I'll spend some time working on this too.
