-----BEGIN PGP SIGNED MESSAGE-----
Hash: SHA1

This message is being sent out to all of you who subscribe to mailing lists
here at ISC (@isc.org) that as of 3am UTC tomorrow (7pm tonight), ISC will
enable greylisting on our MX's.

For those that haven't heard of greylisting, it's a anti-spam method where an
sender from a unknown IP gets their messages deferred, and asks the sender to
try again. You can read more about it at: http://www.greylisting.org/

Note there will be a slight delay (depending on your MTA) in your mail
submissions to the list while the greylist database is seeded over the next
couple of days. After that, the auto-whitelisting mechanism we are going to
use will kick in and most of the delays should go away.

Please don't publicly respond to this message, there is no need to clutter
list traffic on the usefullness of greylisting (or other anti-spam
techniques) here. If you have any questions regarding this change, feel free
to send email to listmaster at isc.org.

Best Wishes - Peter Losher (ISC Operations Engineer & Listmaster)
