Amend named.conf

Hi,

Is there a way to add something, eg a "plugin" specification, to
bind/named's configuration WITHOUT adding it to named.conf, but rather
to a file/directory which is sourced in addition to named.conf?

I'd like to keep named.conf unchanged.
