Good question. We don't have any plan as far as I know!

Subversion has a standard model is to have a trunk and then a branches
directory. That make sense to me.

As far as the actual layout of each trunk/branch... perhaps something
like:

dist/
     init-scripts/
     scripts/
doc/
src/
    $ModuleName/
               benchmarks/
               doc/
               examples/
               tests/
