And we have had a number RRs submitted to us as a patch for inclusion
so I don't think we missed the mark by too much.  Yes you need to
be a C programmer but it is all simple C and there are 50 odd worked
examples of RR types to examime.

One could try to constuct a language to describe RR's and their
presentation format but I don't know whether that would be a step
forward or backwards.
