Yes, you will get duplicates for any tickets where you are also the 
reporter or owner, or if you update the ticket.

I can turn off the emails to owner, reporter, and updater but then those 
not subscribed (especially like reporter or updater who aren't on BIND 
10 team probably won't get emails).
