something like this? (f1rst!)
Configuration:
- - added lots and lots of tests (data_def.cc is at max coverage, same
tests are run on the python version, which now also has
DataDefinition.validate(data) functionality)
- - moved most of the code out of b10-cfgmgr.py.in and into cfgmgr.py in
the lib/ tree
- - handled some review comments on data.cc (improved toWire set of
functions, removed toXML set of functions)
once the exceptions stuff has been moved out of isc::dns i can start
using it (oh and in fact i want to make isc::Exception have a
std::string instead of a char *, or i want a second one;
isc::RuntimeException that does). Some of the exceptions are already
using isc::dns::Exception now, but that creates a dependency on libdns.a
which is not necessary.
General:
- - #include directives no longer need /cpp/ part. If you add a library
(or more specific, a subdirectory in src/lib with a cpp lib), make sure
to add it to the top-level make target that creates the symlinks in
<top>/include
- - src/lib/cc/python/ISC/CC is now src/lib/cc/python/isc/cc
- - run_bind10.sh sets up an environment to run from source, and the
relevant daemons take the hint set by it to use the source tree instead
of the installed tree (bind10, auth, and cfgmgr atm, i don't think msgq
needed anything special for this to work, as it doesn't reference
specific data files)
Auth:
- - auth.spec is installed and the right one is used
i think that's about it
