To be sure, what's annoying in that interface?  Considering a specific
case of constructing an RRset object from a specific data source
entry, it seems to be pretty intuitive to me.  I've peeked at
jelte-datasource1/src/bin/parkinglot/data_source_plot.cc, but couldn't
figure out what made you annoyed from the usage in the code.
