Status:
  - answered to two comments in trac #170  
  - committed r2453, r2454 and r2502 which are related to trac #191
    r2453: interactive version of stats module to talk with other modules
    r2454: merge trunk into branches/trac191
    r2502: minor changes

Plan:
  - upgrade stats module in order that the statistics schema and
    methods are handled in "config_data" and "commands" in the
    stats spec file
  - revise the document [StatsModule] in wiki according to comments to
    my answer in trac #170
  - revise the document more according to the implementation of 
    trac #191
  - let trac #191 go reviewing when my coding is completed
