My benchmarking scripts record memory usage at startup, after first
query, and then after running queryperf.
After doing a query, b10-auth grew from
Private + Shared = RAM used Program
1.9 MiB + 528.0 KiB = 2.4 MiB b10-auth
to:
Private + Shared = RAM used Program
2.0 MiB + 532.0 KiB = 2.5 MiB b10-auth
Not much. And didn't grow anymore after 300,000 queries.
One report looks like:
Private + Shared = RAM used Program
156.0 KiB + 940.0 KiB = 1.1 MiB save-process-st
176.0 KiB + 960.0 KiB = 1.1 MiB test2.sh-revise
904.0 KiB + 1.2 MiB = 2.1 MiB bash (2)
2.0 MiB + 532.0 KiB = 2.5 MiB b10-auth
5.3 MiB + 2.9 MiB = 8.2 MiB b10-cfgmgr
5.8 MiB + 2.9 MiB = 8.7 MiB b10-xfrout
6.5 MiB + 2.9 MiB = 9.4 MiB b10-msgq
6.6 MiB + 2.9 MiB = 9.5 MiB bind10
8.9 MiB + 3.6 MiB = 12.5 MiB b10-cmdctl
12.4 MiB + 2.9 MiB = 15.3 MiB b10-xfrin (2)
Private + Shared = RAM used Program
(Ignore the top two entries even though they are used in the totals.
They are for the scripts that record this info and run the benchmark
tests.)
