Do you mean an equivalent of (recent version of) BIND 9's
'rndc delzone'? If so, that type of run time control is one important
goal of BIND 10, and we are well aware of it. Right now we focus on
more primitive functionalities, but it will surely be included in a
future version.

If I understand it correctly, this will also be one important goal of
BIND 10.
