[bind10-dev] where are rrtypes checked?

more on the dumb question front.

If I create a wombat resource record and pirate the rrtype of 172, where 
are the checks done for this being illegal? I am assuming I have 
bypassed loadzone and stuffed the records into the auth datastore by 
other means. Examples: will xfrin/xfrout pass them, will auth and 
recursive queries be accepted or bounced, how will stats and dumps work...
