Yes, I think so too. The C++ code has „nonblock“ too.
However, what hits me is that some of the real (not just test) code depends on
the „block“ behavior as well. I suspect there historically was time when it was
the „block“ version and got unified to the C++ one as „nonblock“, but some of
the code might have stayed (and since everything is on localhost, the difference
was too small to be visible in real-life). But that's a lot of guesswork.
I'll probably wait for Jelte.
