I was able to build, run "make check" and install log4cplus using Clang 
on Mac OS X. But I did have a problem: a "dll" check (I assume for 
Windows) had a warning with clang but with g++ it had an error. This 
caused numerous warnings and broke the later linking. I worked around 
this and sent full details to the log4cplus developer. (I also told him 
about various warnings clang nicely reported.)
