er, in what sense?

Currently it does show whatever is used, whether that is the default or
something user-set (for modules that are running). Do you want to be
able to see the defaults for for instance list entries that don't exist
yet? Or do you want to see what would be the default if nothing had been
set?

something like
> config show default Auth/listen_on
name                       type     value
Auth/listen_on             list     []
Auth/listen_on[i]/address  string   "::1"
Auth/listen_on[i]/address  integer  53

perhaps?
