I do it manually with git diff --color <rev>...<rev> (I tend to find uncolored
diffs easier to read unless i'm looking for something like this)
For bigger full-branch changes i tend to use meld, which does not show the
whitespace itself as clearly as git diff, but it does show the changes.
But I have also been missing these often :)
