[bind10-dev] Year 3 plan updated

All,

I've updated the year 3 plan based on where we seem to be now.

http://bind10.isc.org/wiki/Year3Plan

We have 3 more days of development on the current sprint, and then we'll
put together a release 1 week later. This reflects our new approach of
waiting 1 week after the previous sprint ends before releasing, rather
than 2 days. It was often a bit rushed getting everything checked before
the release, so this gives us time to be a bit more careful.

As for the deliverables... a lot of smallish goals for the 2nd release
did not get accomplished - it was a crowded release, and this is not
completely unexpected. The main problem is that the *next* release is
also crowded, so a few things got pushed further down.

I think the main issue is that it is probably unrealistic to expect us
to complete the authoritative server for our 2011-10-11 release. We
should be *almost* complete, but I think we'll have to commit to the
2011-11-22 release as being able to say that the authoritative server is
"ready".

It's possible work could go faster, but unless we get a lot of help
arriving in the next month or two, don't bet on it!
