That is what I did.

I bought a ticket for 26 CZK from a booth at the airport. It said
transfer ticket on it. They also gave me a underground and tramlines
map.

I caught the 119 Bus. It comes every 10 minutes I think. Near the end
some guy flashed me a badge and I showed him a ticket. He said do I read
English? And told me to read it. It said in extremely small print "Any
ticket which has not been validated is invalid." So I inserted into a
machine on the bus that stamped some timestamp on it. I took the bus
maybe 25 minutes to Dejvicka.

Then I went down and used same ticket and caught the Metro A Subway (I
waited maybe one minute). I was on it maybe 5 minutes and about five
stops. At the "Namesti Miru" stop I went to the door, but it never
opened... then I realized I had to push a button to open the subway
doors (I almost missed my exit!). Then I took the longest escalator I
have ever seen (I am warning you since I remember The Great Wall :).

You will see a large old church. This is at the Square of Peace.

The hotel is about two blocks southeast. The CZNIC classroom is about 1
block south (go one block west and then south on Americka).
