If we have it...

- memory leak in logging?
  See #1028 and #1360.  In particular, if we have leaks in log4cplus
  (see
  http://stackoverflow.com/questions/696321/best-logging-framework-for-native-c),
  we may have to consider other logging libraries.  And, if there's no
  good C++ library as the stackoverflow link indicates, we may have to
  consider porting BIND 9's log library again.
