I did not measure the whole server, because the change creates a small change in
the API interface and makes the code not compile in various area I didn't care
to fix. But from the measurements I did I can conclude the expected slowdown
would be well below 1%. I know measuring with queryperf would be better, but I
believe I added enough reserves into the estimates for them to be true even when
in semi-theoretical level.
