First off, on which version of BIND are you asking? As the list name
suggests, this list is for discussion of version 10 of BIND, while the
current production version is version 9 as known as BIND 9 (so, in
general, when someone just says "BIND", I suspect it's more likely to
mean BIND 9). Both version 9 and 10 have the directory
"lib/dns/rdata", so I'm not sure about the version from this
information either.
If you mean BIND 9, I suggest you ask the question at bind-users:

If you mean BIND 10, this is the right place but I'm not sure what you
mean by "types". Do you mean just like a mapping of some mnemonic
of an RR type like "AAAA" and its numeric value (e.g. 28), or do you
mean something more than that, such as handling its RDATA? If you
could be more specific about what you want to achieve, that would be
more helpful.
