The requirements are for how it behaves to the user. I'm talking about internal
data structures, which are just ad-hoc mix of dicts and lists. I believe at
least me and Jelte have some pretty concrete idea what we want to do (without
changing the external behaviour, with the exception of „accidentally“ fixing few
bugs). I don't think there's a need of requirements for that. We might or might
not need a design document for that (or an interface of the base class, which is
often less work and is more exact).

What I wanted to say is, do we really want to fix these bugs by tweaking the
ad-hoc data structures and cursing the mess there, if we really need to do some
classes of them and the bugs could possibly be gone by themselfs?
