[bind10-dev] Year 4 resolver goals

All,

I've put together a set of goals regarding the resolver work in year 4.
This is similar to the ones for usability that went out some weeks ago.

We have a text file explaining a little bit about each focus area, and
then a spreadsheet with some numbers in Open Document Spreadsheet (ODS)
format as well a corresponding comma-separated-variable (CSV) file. The
spreadsheet contains rough estimates on my part on how long it would
take for 1 engineer to finish the job.

Note that I've italicized some goals that I think can be postponed for
now, such as source IP (not port) randomization, collecting ICMP
unreachable responses, and so on.

We have less flexibility here than with the usability work, I think.
Given the amount of work here, it is likely to take the entire rest of
year 4, after we finish our usability work.
