I don't see anything else than just running the install on debian, not doing
ldconfig and copy-pasting it to documentation with explanation. So I don't see
anything much to do either.

I think we should go through them. Otherwise the documentation will be wrong,
which is probably even worse than no documentation at all. We may also need to
introduce a new exception if we come up with cases not covered and discuss them.

Yes. Segfault, on a specific system and in python. That might turn out to be
simple, but it sounds rather scary to me.
