I just realized I hadn't really considered how to structure discussion
on estimates, for now I'll just sum the ones that might be controversial
in this one thread. This format may change in the future.
Luckily, there don't seem to be too many where the estimates vary wildly.
Let me take 'lowest and highest are more than 2 position away in the
range 1,2,3,5,8,13' as a guideline. There is only one ticket that
matches that:
#2367 (select features to build and install): lowest 3, hightest 13, and
one not-estimated because the ticket does not really specify specific tasks
I agree that while the goals seems pretty clear, the ticket may be
underspecified (and/or it's really multiple tickets). I was hoping
Jeremy had some specific things in mind though. Jeremy: should we
subdivide this or do you have a pretty well-scoped idea of what needs to
be done here?
There are a few comments that may warrant a bit of discussion as well:
#2377 (define dns::MasterLoad class): should we divide this one further?
#2380 (revise b10-loadzone using datasrc.ZoneLoader): should we divide
this one further?
And one note from me:
#2351 (src/lib/exceptions WIN32 port): Someone asked if this was
review-only, yes this is review only. We could indeed use a windows test
environment for this.
