I think it is still a bug. A different build/install shouldn't affect 
building/testing in a new source tree.

Sorry I didn't recognize this when you first told me but I thought it 
was new system and didn't think it had any older version already 
installed.  (We have hit similar problems multiple times for a few years 
like this.)
