It occurs to me that it might be nice to fix our tests to run in
parallel where possible and serial where necessary, because making
things run faster seems like a good idea.
But, I can see your point about the output going to a log file. I
wonder if they discovered problems like we have seen with multiple
tasks going to stdout and getting output mixed up? :(
Anyway, I think changing to original - non-parallel- behavior is fine.
