about users statistics needs, some of which I shared with the
team, but it was a long time ago. We could dig it up again. I
think that the separate thread is a good idea, as long as we don
not lose track of it. I am taking an action to dig up the user

<pre wrap="">To make it clear first, I'm not against discussing what kind of statistics we
want to gather. Showing the information user wants/needs is a good thing.
However:
• I'm not sure about the others, but I'm a developer. I can argue about what is
the best way to gather this or that set of statistics. But I have no idea
what users want or need to know (personally, I don't really see much use of
statistics myself, but obviously there's some). It might be similar for
others on this list. So maybe it could be good to ask somewhere else than
here.
• If we agree on better set, we still might want to keep some of these
low-level numbers (number of A queries asked, etc). So the issue at hand
would still probably be valid.
• If discussing about what statistics we might to want, we probably should
start a separate thread. This one tries to solve a specific technical issue
we're having. I think it should be solved, so we probably should continue.
Or did I misunderstood the purpose of Your message?
