 applied your patches (with a minor cleanup) in r1949. Also changed
 IPPROTO_TCP to 0, it fails to setup the socket on my system with the
 macro. Again, I expect this part to be removed once we have non-boost
 ASIO.

 So that only leaves SUN_LEN, right?
