 It would be nice to be able to say to boss something like „start
 everything except xfrout, but tell me the command you would run“ (xfrout
 used as an example). It would help debugging, it is sometime nice to be
 able to run the process in some kind of tool (gdb, valgrind, etc).

 Current workaround is to replace the real program by a shellscript that
 does nothing, but it is inconvenient.
